What do speech therapy services cost?

Rosy Speech and Language's hourly billing rate is $150. This includes direct time with the speech therapist and indirect time (e.g. time for material and session preparation, documentation, emails and phone calls, etc.).

A treatment session is billed at $150. This includes 45 minutes direct time with speech therapist and 15 minutes of indirect time.

An assessment session is billed at $175. This includes 1 hour direct time with speech therapist plus indirect time.

If a written report is required this is an additional charge and can be discussed with speech therapist.

Payment is due immediately following each session and you will be provided with a receipt for insurance purposes.

Is speech language therapy covered by my insurance?

Many insurance plans include coverage for speech language assessment and treatment. It is strongly recommended that you check with your insurance company first to find out what coverage is available.

How often does my child need speech therapy sessions?

The frequency of sessions is different for each child and depends on the specific needs of the child. This will be determined after an assessment is completed and could include weekly, biweekly or monthly treatment schedules.

How long are speech therapy sessions?

Treatment sessions are 45 minutes direct time with speech therapist. Assessment sessions are 1 hour direct time with speech therapist. If further assessment time is required this will be discussed with you.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
